Cause

Battery error has occurred.

What to Do

Take the corresponding actions below.

• Turn off the printer and turn it back on.

• Turn off the printer and unplug it, detach all cables and battery.

  Attach the AC adapter to the printer, plug the printer in, and turn on again.

If this does not solve the problem, the printer needs to be repaired.

If detaching the battery solves the problem, only the battery needs to be repaired.

Contact your nearest Canon service center to request a repair.
