Cause

Print head position adjustment failed.

What to Do

Follow the steps below to repeat Print Head Alignment.

  1. Tap OK on the touch screen to dismiss the error.
  2. Print a test pattern to check the nozzles.

  3. If the nozzle is blocked, clean the print head.

  4. Retry Print Head Alignment.

If any print head nozzles are still blocked, replace the print head.

If the error appears again, the printer may be damaged. Contact a Canon customer service center.
