Setting with Professional Print & Layout

Follow these steps to set an ICC profile when printing via Professional Print & Layout.

Note

  • If you have registered third party paper with Media Configuration Tool, update the media information.
    To update the media information, select Other Settings... from the File menu, and then click Add/Update Media Information on the Preferences tab.

  1. Start Professional Print & Layout, and then drag and drop the image you want to print to the Preview area.

  2. In Print Settings on the General Settings tab, set Media Type, Paper Size, Paper Source, and Print Quality.

    Select the Media Type and Paper Source that match the paper to print on.

  3. In Color Management, select Use ICC Profile for Color Mode.

  4. From Printer Profile, select the installed ICC profile.

  5. Select a method for Rendering Intent.

    Note

    • Select Perceptual to print with an impression close to that on the monitor by correctly reflecting the characteristics of the data displayed on the monitor. For details, refer to the "Digital Photo Printing Guide" of the Online Manual.

  6. Click Print.
